Dues to lack of interest by our customers over the past three year marketing period, we have made a decision to discontinue stocking and selling the Rainbird PRS (with in-head pressure regulator) rotor heads. Our decision applies to both the standard 5000 PRS and the 5000 Plus PRS Series.
We have also made a decision not to stock or sell Non-Potable water use ID as an option on the 5000 and 5000 Plus heads for the same reason.
Our recommendation to customers needing pressure regulation in their systems would be to purchase and install a standard pressure regulator that can be installed in the manifold area and which will regulate pressure at the pre-determined rate throughout the entire system, rather than attempting to regulate pressure at each head.
