Formula #2000 is most effective for well water with hardness greater than 15 GPG. One gallon of Formula 2000 will treat 125,000 gallons of well water with 1ppm iron. For irrigation applications only.

Prevention is the key. Our Formula products prevent stains and scale caused by iron in well water from building up on walls, sidewalks, fences, shrubs and other elements of landscaping. They are concentrates that must be mixed with water in the feed tank of the feeder system.

In order to determine the proper chemical to use, the well water must be tested for iron content, hardness and pH. In order to determine dosage for a particular application, refer to dosage charts or the on-line dosage calculator.
