The Rainbird 24 Volt Hard-Wired Transformer will fit all Rainbird RC Series OUTdoor electro-mechanical controllers. If your Rainbird controller is an outdoor model with wired-in (not plug-in) transformer, this is the Hard-Wired Transformer that will fit your controller. This transformer converts 115 volt standard power down to 24 volts.

Note - All transformers are checked for proper operation before being shipped and are NOT eligible for return.

Do NOT connect power until you have all controller wiring completed and secure. It is wise to check for shorts with an electric meter before connecting valve wiring to your timer.

A shorted-out solenoid or wiring short circuit may have blown your previous transformer and will be happy to blow this one out too if any existing short hasn't been eliminated. For instructions on checking for shorts go to the page on plug-in transformers.
