Franklin Standard Quick Disconnect Control Box for 1 horsepower submersible pump. This is the standard control box that is used on probably 90% of all one horsepower well pumps. It clips onto the top, then is swung down carefully to match the contact clips and has a hard-to-get-at screw at the bottom for securing it closed. Yes, this is "the control box". The Pointek Box sold by Sta-Rite is essentially the same control box amtching the same spec sheet and we do use and ship the two brands interchangeably.

- QD & CRC – These control boxes are designed for use with Franklin 3-wire single-phase submersible motors through 1 Hp.
- STANDARD & DELUXE - These control boxes are designed for use with Franklin or other brand name 3-wire singlephase submersible motors from 1 through 15 Hp. Recommended for water systems that use standard/ heavy-duty pressure switches, level switches, or other pilot devices. Deluxe boxes (only) contain magnetic line contactors carefully matched to the motor rating, eliminating the need for external line contactors.

IMPORTANT: Franklin Pump Control Boxes are electrical components that can be easily burnt out by excessive amperage draw due to a damaged pump or electrical power surges due to nearby lightning activity. Therefore there is absolutely no return for any reason on Franklin or Pointek Pump Control Boxes. We suggest you check resistance on your pump with a meter prior to purchase and installation. If your resistance is greater than 14-15 Ohms, the pump is damaged and may blow out any new control box installed immediately or within a short period of time.
