The Rainbird PFR-12 PolyFlex Riser is intended for use with devices such as the SXB and XS 5 inch Spike Stakes where additional height is desired for the emission device. To install the PFR-12 Riser on a typical 5 inch spike device, you would unscrew the emission device from the spike stake portion of the assembly, screw the PFR-12 Riser down into and onto the spike stake, then screw the emission device onto the top of the PFR-12 Riser - which can be shortened with a cutter if desired.

The PFR-12 Riser can be utilized with any Rainbird Spike-Mounted assembly to attain additional height by installing as detailed above. Although the PFR-12 Riser isn't threaded at either end, both barb type and 10-32 thread devices will fit. Simply screw any 10-32 threaded device into the PFR-12 Riser and it will initiate its own thread. barb devices will also fit into the PFR-12 quickly and easily.
